Postgrad Initiative:
E-Network
Fortnightly readings , discussion questions and news
What is it?
The Network is for individual Master’s, doctoral and post-doctoral students based in Europe, sharing encouragement through e-resources, readings and personal connections.
With many contributors, it is co-ordinated on our behalf by Anja Lijcklama à Nijeholt, a Dutch graduate of Leiden University who has also co-ordinated church-based international student ministry and later completed four years of theological postgraduate study in London.

Why join?
- Receive regular term-time emails,
- with articles, videos and other study resources, stories from postgraduate groups, news about events, and reflections from academics across Europe in different disciplines. You can read these on your own, or meet with a friend or two to discuss them together.
Click here to see an example of a recent series, on Dr Chris Watkin’s Biblical Critical Theory.
- Connect at network conferences:
- currently our term-time hub gatherings take place at Forming a Christian Mind in Cambridge, and at the end of the academic year members are invited to a residential weekend at a different European location, for encouragement to discuss the key ideas and questions raised by the network readings.
- Get in touch with other members near you:
- if you'd like to get together with other Christian postgrads near you to support one another, or perhaps to start an Associated group, we can help put you in touch with others in the network nearby who may be interested.
