Do your Christian life and your degree feel like completely separate parts of your life?
Imagine what it might be like to let your faith shape your studies, and see your degree introduce meaningful conversations about your faith!
Colossians 1:15-20 says that everything was created by Christ and for Christ. This includes our field of study. In partnership with the Gospel and Academia Project, you can now be equipped and resources together with other undergrads in the following ways:
- You can connect with other students asking the same questions as you through pan-European online network gatherings (see below).
- Check out the growing range of articles and resources providing introductions to your field of study.
- Connect with subject-specific Network coordinators in the Humanities, STEM, the Social Sciences, and Theology & Philosophy, who can point you to academics or resources.
- Undergraduates committed to ongoing academic study are welcome to attend and observe some of our postgraduate conferences to connect with role models.

New: Twice-termly Webinars for Undergraduate Students
Academia many demands on us as students, and especially for us as Christians. There’s a great need for more resources to help us think through our callings in the university, but one of the best resources we have is each other!
In partnership with IFES Europe, the Gospel and Academia Project is launching four new subject networks – for undergraduates in STEM, the Social Sciences, the Arts & Humanities and Theology & Philosophy – to encourage each other in our work and witness, share issues and ideas, and build connections in our fields across Europe.
The first Network gatherings will be over Zoom on Monday 19 October, as we discuss the question ‘How do I do my subject well as a Christian?’ We will introduce our coordinators, share our vision for the Networks, and think together about how the gospel shapes our studies, and how our studies can point to the gospel.
Whether you’re a first-year student or close to graduation, your contributions and questions are invaluable, and we’d love to see you there. The meetings take place over lunch (13:00-14:30 CEST) and in the evening (19:00-20:30 CEST). Click here to sign up for the time that suits you best.
